ABOUT THE JOB
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will build and scale critical digital products across the full stack, mainly within the Ops Digital Heartbeat initiative. This program focuses on creating scalable, data-driven solutions for operational processes. You will own complex systems, shape architecture, and work closely with engineering and domain teams to deliver modern cloud-native solutions. This includes integrating data pipelines, enabling analytics, and driving automation to improve decision-making and execution. The work is delivered iteratively, with a strong focus on modular design and continuous optimization of operational systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Integrate mathematical optimization engines and Generative AI capabilities into production-grade enterprise applications

- Design and implement end-to-end features across backend and frontend
- Build and evolve scalable microservices and APIs using Java (Spring Boot)
- Develop high-quality frontend applications using Vue.js
- Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
- Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Support and mentor other engineers through technical guidance and feedback.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Core Skills: 5+ years of experience in software engineering; Strong expertise in Java and Spring / Spring Boot; Experience building microservices and REST APIs at scale; Solid frontend experience with React or Vue; Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Platform & Engineering Practices: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP); Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes; Experience with CI/CD and DevOps collaboration; Strong knowledge of testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end); Understanding of performance, security, and scalability principles
- Collaboration: Proven experience working in cross-functional teams; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to or experience with Operations Research (OR) concepts and ecosystems: MILP/LP modeling, constraint programming, scheduling, routing, forecasting
- Experience with agent frameworks and protocols (e.g., LangGraph, Pydantic AI, Model Context Protocol / MCP).
